VINTAGE SIGNAL CORPS I-177B TUBE TESTER
The auction is for a military I-177B Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester. The control panel is clean and in good condition. All sockets have been cleaned and are tight. The exterior case has some dents & scratches. All switches have been check and cleaned. The type 83 rectifier tube has been replaced with a solid state 83 and 5Y3 tube has been checked for balance, replaced if needed. All carbon resistors have been replaced. All capacitors have been replaced. A CD is included with manual & tube data.
The three low ohms resistors that are used for calibration have been replaced with potentiometers. The three potentiometers make it easier to re- calibration when needed. The one picture is the repair report and another picture shows a Type 6

tube being tested.
All voltage measurements were taken with a Fluke 115 DMM shunted to simulate 1,000 ohms/volt meter sensitivity. House voltage is 120 VAC. Please look at all pictures before bidding. If you would like me to test a certain tube let me know.
Ask for an invoice before you pay and I may be able to lower the shipping cost that Ebay is showing.

I will combine shipping if I can. Sometimes heavy items cannot be shipping together. If you should win or purchase more than one item that I'm selling, please wait for an invoice prior to payment.
If an item is damaged during shipment I accept returns.
You should expect to get the item you've paid for in the same condition as it was advertised, and not in pieces.  If it arrives broken then I should have packaged it more securely.  I will give a complete refund including the cost of the return shipment immediately upon having been provided with a tracking number. You must use the same method of shipping as I did.  I no longer give partial refunds for shipping damage as I have had several customers request partial credit claiming shipping damage who have then provided me with photos of another item, not the one I sold.  You must return the item to me for refund. Do not demand a refund without returning the item. This goes against Ebay policy and I will report you.
If I send you the wrong item by mistake please let me know.
You should let me know and return the item. I will pay for return shipping as long the item shipped the same method as I shipped the item and the item is received in the same condition as I sent it. Once I receive the item back, I will give you a full refund or send you the correct item.
If you bid on an item by mistake I can cancel the bid.
If you should change your mind or were not clear on what you bid on I will cancel bid if you let me know before the end of the auction.

I want everyone who purchases from me to be a happy.  However, in this one case, I do require that you pay the return costs.
I sell and I ship to domestic, US based addresses.
I will ship some items internationally using the Global Shipping Program only to eligible countries. Once the item leaves the Global Shipping Center in the US, I will consider it to have been received in good order and any damage or loss due to shipping beyond that point is your responsibility. Should you manage to place a bid but the shipping address is not to an eligible country, the bid will be cancelled without notice.
I don?t end auctions early.
I strive to be fair and honest in my listings and in the way I do business.  My feeling is that those who may be watching or bidding on one of my auctions should be given the full duration of the auction to decide what they wish to do.
Will ship using USPS or Fedex, whichever is the lowest cost. Will refund any extra shipping cost paid by buyer.
Ebay does not allow combined shipping for international sales using the Global Shipping Program.
So I do not offer combined shipping on international sales.
