    Description

    Very nice vintage white gravy boat with wide blue floral border attached to a plate.  Clearly marked on the back with the iconic sitting Native American. Shenango China, New Castle, Property of Grove City College.  Believed to be from the faculty dining room.   The platter measures approx. 9-1/2 (Plate) 7-7/8 inches across and 2-1/2 inches deep ( boat)  The border has a thin blue stripe then a white stripe then the wide light blue floral stripe, a white stripe and then a thicker navy blue stripe.
    Very nice condition.  No chips, cracks or crazing. One mark( indentation) on the back of the plate, believed to be caused while firing.
