Antique medical rare tonsil guillotine tonsillectomy instrument c 1860 Civil War Period by K. KLOT / COL.O.   KONSIANTIN KLOT  a surgical instrument maker in Columbus Ohio.  Beautiful gun metal polished steel with blued metal spring parts.  Nice wide handled cross cut steel handles.  Sharp blades and lancet point.  Very early scientific design and finely engineered instrument of the time and somewhat rare.  Wonderful original finish and patina.  Excellent working condition, no repairs or damage.  9 1/2" long x 6 1/4".  13/16" wide handle.  Please e-mail with questions.  Thanks and good luck!
