Description
A early surgical wound stapler instrument. The Richter Magazine Wound Clip Forceps with a Patent Date 1916. Beautiful nickel silver finished solid brass. Signed in the back of the magazine RICHTER CLIP FORCEP PATENTED OCT 13, 1916. Staples are fed from the magazine into the crimping jaws by a thumb button. Squeezing the two arms drives the staple points through the skin and crimps them in place. Instrument is in fine condition. No damage, all parts working.
