    Description

Here is a terrific lot from a nice batch of cinderella stamps that I've now got up on eBay!
This is a terrific lot with four different versions of the "Charging Buffalo" cinderella stamp issued for the 1901 Pan American Exposition held in Buffalo, New York. You'll receive BC2, BC2a, BC2b, and BC3.
Check out the images closely, and here are the differences between the stamps (as beautifully noted in the Appendix in
    Buffalo Cinderellas
    ):
    Charging Buffalo Variations
    Plate 1, Engraving 1:
    a)
There is grass behind the buffalo’s left leg and right back hoof
    b)
Buffalo’s right horn sticks out far from his body
    c)
The buffalo’s left eyeball is quite pronounced; the “white” of that eye is very obvious and noticeable
    d)
Tail barely touches the ornamental swoosh on the right beneath the word “Exposition” (sometimes on lesser            inked versions of this plate, the tail does not quite touch swoosh)
    Plate 1, Engraving 2:
    a)
There is grass behind the buffalo’s left leg and right back hoof
    b)
Buffalo’s right horn sticks out far from his body
    c)
The buffalo’s left eyeball is quite pronounced; the “white” of that eye is very obvious and noticeable
    d)
Tail barely touches the ornamental swoosh on the right beneath the word “Exposition” (sometimes on lesser            inked versions of this plate, the tail does not quite touch swoosh)
    e)
There is a distinct dot over the letter “P” in the word “Exposition, below the “A” in the word “American"
    Plate 1, Engraving 3:
    a)
There is grass behind the buffalo’s left leg and right back oof
    b)
Buffalo’s right horn sticks out far from his body
    c)
The buffalo’s left eyeball is quite pronounced; the “white” of that eye is very obvious and noticeable
    d)
Tail does not touch the ornamental swoosh on the right beneath the word “Exposition”; depending on the                amount of ink, there is usually a .5mm space between the tail and the swoosh. Also, the very tip of the tail is            higher than the left  tip of the swoosh.
    Plate 2:
    a)
There is no grass at all behind the buffalo’s left foot
    b)
Buffalo’s right horn is next to his body
    c)
The buffalo’s left eyeball is not very pronounced and almost blends in completely with the rest of the fur                  beneath his left horn
    d)
Tip of buffalo’s tail is very faint and is almost 2mm away from the ornamental swoosh on the right beneath the        word “Exposition”
It is challenging to locate all four variations of this collectible souvenir stamp (especially BC2a!), so here is your chance to add all of these gems to your collection at once!

    Background
    :
"I have saved Pan American Exposition cinderella stamps since 1968, and through the years have accumulated several thousand of them. I even bought dealer stocks of them in later years and stashed them away. These stamps, once sorted, were what were used to examine each individual design closely  to determine printing information, intricate details, and whether there were variations in appearance or different engravings. Once
    Buffalo Cinderellas
was  finished, I saved items I wanted for my own collection, and it now makes sense to offer the rest of these gems to others who also have a passion for collecting these treasures as well."  -  Rick Barrett, author
