    This spring fits Discovery, Maximus and gen. 1 Fortitude.
    It will also fit gen. 2 Fortitude, Marauder Pistol, 1720T and 1701P if you use one of our custom power adjusters for those models.
    It's 1.5" long and .045" wire diameter. The ends are squared and ground flat to compress straight. It produces more power and better shot consistency.
    The more striker spring tension you have the harder it becomes to pull the bolt back. It works the smoothest if you hook your finger around the handle close to the breech and pull back in one quick motion.
    More hammer spring tension also increases trigger pull. Custom trigger, sear and spring upgrades are listed that reduce pull, increase comfort and accuracy.
    Our power adjusters allow you to use just enough hammer force to get the power level you need without excessive bolt and trigger pull or wear on critical parts.
    This spring is far too strong for 13XX and 22XX and will cause damage to those models.
