This spring fits 2240, 2250, 2260, 2300KT, 2400KT, 1300KT, 1377, 1322, 2289G Backpacker, PC77 and similar models.
It's 1.5" long and .038" wire diameter. The ends are squared and ground flat to compress straight. It produces more power and better shot consistency with less hammer bounce. If using a power adjuster to pre-load the spring this is the strongest spring you can use without damaging the gun. If not using a power adjuster you can use the .042" WD version.
The power adjusters we have listed for 22XX and 13XX are highly recommended. They allow you to fine-tune spring tension for the best balance of performance, accuracy and efficiency. If not using a power adjuster you can use the .042" spring for more power in warmer temps with CO2 or at a higher number of pumps with 13XX.
The more striker spring tension you have the harder it becomes to pull the bolt back. It works the smoothest if you hook your finger around the handle close to the breech and pull back in one quick motion.
More hammer spring tension also increases trigger pull. Custom trigger, sear and spring upgrades are listed that reduce pull, increase comfort and accuracy.
